The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in an LA Vehicle Accident
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.
The celebrated game designer died after his automobile collided and burst into flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing a devastating loss, and we stand with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts stated.
